Description
The occasional chair's seat is in the raised position allowing the user to softly enter the chair instead of falling into it and is a swivel chair when the user is seated. When the user approaches the chair to sit, or begin to get up, the swivel mechanism dis-engages, preventing any movement of the swivel protecting the user from possible unsteady movements. The occasional chair has a swivel specifically allowing the user to turn 180 degrees either direction in order to safely reach a walker, cane or other device assisting them in. The chair is equipped without and with casters allowing easy access pulling the chair away from a table when used as a dining, or desk chair.
